I can’t think of a better time than during the hustle and bustle of Black Friday to re-visit some of Murphy’s Laws because heaven knows we’re sure some apply to us especially when we’re super busy. There are many Laws attributed to good old Murphy starting with the one he’s most famous for: “If anything can go wrong, it will”. That’s backed up by: “If anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway”.
“If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something”. How about this one: “Everybody lies but it doesn’t matter since nobody listens”. “He who laughs last thinks slowest” “Just because you CAN do something doesn’t mean you should”. And these I swear are true, at least from my perspective: “Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse”. “The other line always moves faster”. “You will always find something in the last place you look”. And my favourite that happens to me every single time: “Whenever you set out to do something, something else must be done first”.
