The Road to the Roar Canadian Olympic Curling team's pre-trials are on until Sunday in Summerside P-E-I. There are 14 women's and men's teams including Colton Flasch of the Nutana Curling Club who has a 2-2 record in the round robin.

The Saskatchewan Rush open their 2017-18 National Lacrosse League training camp Friday near Toronto with a Saturday night scrimmage against the Rock. Training camp then shifts to Saskatoon November 17th and the team hits Co-op Field at SaskTel Centre the next night to host Georgia in a pre-season re-match of last season's Champions Cup final.
