Week 17 in the CFL starts Friday with Hamilton in Winnipeg. The Riders are off until Saturday when they take on the Argos in Toronto. Saskatchewan has a 7-6 record, tied for third in the Western Division with Edmonton. The Argos are first in the East at 7-7. The Riders return home Friday, October 13th against Ottawa. Opening kick-off at Mosaic Stadium is at 8 p.m.
The University of Saskatchewan Huskies Football team is off until Saturday, October 14th when they host the U-B-C Thunderbirds. The Huskies are fourth in the Canada West standings with a 2-3 record. U-B-C is tied for 2nd with Regina at 3-2. Opening Kick-off at Griffiths Stadium will be at 7 p.m. Countdown to Kick-off on CJWW will be on the air at 6;30.
The three-time defending PFC and Canadian Bowl champion Saskatoon Hilltops take on the unbeaten Huskies in Edmonton Saturday with the winner finishing first in the final Prairie Football Conference regular season standings. The Toppers are 6-1 and are guaranteed a second-place finish. The Huskies are 7-0. Game time is 7 p.m. with the broadcast on 92-9 THE BULL beginning at 6;30. Saskatoon will host either Winnipeg or Regina on October 15th in the PFC semifinals
