Some of Canada's top curlers have a second chance to get to the Olympics starting Tuesday morning with the mixed doubles trials in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
The 18-team competition will feature players such as Brad Gushue and Jennifer Jones. In addition, the Saskatoon duo of Marliese Kasner and Dustin Kalthoff are taking part...as is Sherry Just of Prince Albert. She is replacing Emma Myskew and pairing up with Tyrel Griffith of Kelowna, B-C. Miskew had to step aside as she is the third on the Rachel Homan team that will represent Canada in women's curling at the Olympics in South Korea. Mixed doubles has been added to the Olympic program for the first time and will debut in Pyeongchang next month.
