The Saskatoon Blades will hit the road Friday for three games in the Central Division with a fifth player acquired during the Trade Deadline run-up on the bus.
With forwards Kirby Dach, Caleb Fantillo and Michael Farren sidelined by injury, the Bridge City Bunch called up Tristen Robins from the Rink Academy of Winnipeg. The Blue and Gold will be met in Red Deer Friday night by forward Kyle Crnkovic...one of the team's first round Bantam Draft choices in 2017. The Blades visit the Rebels Saturday, travel to Kootenay Sunday and journey back to Calgary on Tuesday. Saskatoon practiced for the first time Thursday with all of their recent acquisitions...goaltender Tyler Brown and defenceman Dawson Davidson from Regina, forward Max Gerlach formerly of Medicine Hat and forward Eric Florchuk from Victoria.
