Saskatchewan's 2nd round draft pick in 2012 registered 65 defensive tackles, a sack, an interception and a forced fumble in 18 regular season games with the Blue Bombers last season and made another six defensive tackles in the West Semi-Final.
For his career, the 27-year-old Calgary native has registered 166 defensive tackles, 47 special-teams tackles and eight quarterback sacks in 90 career regular-season games. Hurl left Saskatchewan for Winnipeg in 2015.
