This might be the first agreement in Canada between a university and a city-owned art museum.
University of Saskatchewan President Peter Stoicheff and Remai Modern Executive Director and CEO Gregory Burke are signing a partnership agreement tomorrow evening (tues ). The goal is to collaborate in areas of complementary strength and mission. This can touch on, among other things, public programming, indigenous initiatives, partnered exhibitions, and acquisition activities. The signing, which is open to the public, takes place at 6:30 in the atrium of the Remai Museum.
