Two Saskatchewan companies have pleaded guilty to health and safety violations for failing to ensure workers were using proper safety equipment.
Hilltop Construction of Balgonie was fined $1,250 plus a $500 surcharge. Last November, an occupational health officer saw that workers were not using fall protection or personal protective equipment. Graham G Lamb of Canora was fined $1,000 as well as a $400 surcharge. In June of 2016, workers were seen not using proper personal protective equipment.
