This is International Education Week in Saskatchewan.
The time is dedicated to showcasing the impact that international education has on preparing students for the world. The Saskatchewan Plan for Growth identifies international education as a cornerstone for the province's immigration strategy. For Post-Secondary, the goal is to increase the number of international students in the province, increase the number of Saskatchewan students studying abroad, and raising the number and value of international research partnerships. Last year there were about 7,000 students studying here from more than 130 countries.
