A Saskatoon man facing child pornography, sexual exploitation and luring charges had his charges stayed in provincial court.
Rhett Lundgren was a 39 year old teacher at Walter Murray Collegiate and suspended without pay when he was arrested in December. He was charged with sexual exploitation and luring by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit after a person came forward in Red Deer on an alleged incident dating back to 2009 when Lundgren was a teacher in that community. Saskatoon Police said they had also found child pornography on devices seized from Lundgren's home, but late last month his charges were stayed. The Crown now has one year to decide if they will bring the charges back to court.
