An ambulance and specialty vehicle manufacturer in Saskatoon has secured a multi-year deal with BC Emergency Health Services.
It's a $23.7-million contract for Crestline Coach. The two companies have worked closely to incorporate some new features, including new roll bar technology for paramedic and patient safety and a new style of emergency lighting to increase visibility. Some of the ambulances will be outfitted with solar panels to power the equipment inside. The work on these vehicles has begun with delivery scheduled to begin early next year.
