It has been less than a week since the Prime Minister visited Regina and he is back Wednesday afternoon.
This time it's part of Justin Trudeau's tours of of aluminum and steel factories to talk with workers about the government's work to keep jobs safe. Although U.S. President Donald Trump has said Mexico and Canada are exempt from the proposed tariffs on steel and aluminum, there is uncertainty in the industry. The Prime Minister meets with Regina's Mayor, Michael Fougere, at City Hall at 1:40 and then Trudeau and Premier Scott Moe will tour the EVRAZ facility and meet with workers around 2:20. His final meeting is a roundtable with steel industry leaders at 3:30 at the Turvey Convention Centre on the EVRAZ grounds.
