Driving conditions were poor yesterday (tues) both in the city and on the highways.
Saskatoon Police attended 14 collisions early in the day, with five of those happening over the noon hour. The slippery streets had police advising drivers to slow down and allow more space between vehicles. Lumsden RCMP had a jack-knifed semi to deal with. It was blocking the north-bound lane of Highway 11 to Saskatoon. That had them warning drivers to expect delays of up to 4 hours. And Maidstone RCMP had multiple accidents to deal within the Maidstone and Lloydminster areas. There were problems with road conditions on Highways 16, 303, and 21.
