Pink Day, a day aimed at helping children and students stand up against bullying.
This year, Pink Day will be on February 28th across the Province. Cyndi Fuchs, Vice-President of The Canadian Red-Cross in Saskatchewan says the day gives kids the opportunity to speak out against bullying issues. This year, the Red Cross has shirts made up with the hashtag saying #BeSomeonesHero. Fuchs (foo-ks) says the motto is easy to help kids remember to help out a friend when they're being bullied. Shirts with the hashtag can be purchased online at redcross.ca/pinksk. Over 75 thousand people participated in last year's Pink day in Saskatchewan.
