There has been a plane crash in Northern Saskatchewan.
West Wind Aviation says shortly after six o'clock last night (wed), they were told one of their planes was involved in an accident near the Fond du Lac Airport while on route to Stony Rapids. There were 22 passengers and three flight crew on board. Fond du Lac RCMP say the plane crashed shortly after take-off. There were no fatalities, but RCMP say there were multiple injuries. Police, Emergency Responders, personnel from the Royal Canadian Air Force, and Search and Rescue personnel all responded to the incident. All of the people on board have been accounted for. Some of the injuries were serious enough that air ambulance services were called in. Transport Canada is investigating.
