Royal LePage says the aggregate price of a home in Saskatoon decreased 2.4 per cent in the third quarter of the year.
That brings the price to $377,191 compared to the same quarter a year ago. In terms of housing type, the median price of a standard two-storey home decreased 1.5 per cent year-over-year to $407,915. The median price of a bungalow decreased 3.6 per cent to $342,103. Sales are down about 5 per cent, year-to-date, compared to last year. Broker Matt Miller says, "Despite an increase in inventory, prices are proving fairly resilient as consumer confidence in the region improves." He expects inventory to trend downward as Saskatoon moves to a more balanced market.
