Al Gargol thanked all detectives and other officers for their hard work in arresting and charging a suspect in relation to the death of his niece, 18 year old Brittney Gargol.
Saskatoon Police were called to Cedar Villa Estates near Valley Road around 6 a.m. on March 25th, 2015, after reports that a passerby had discovered an injured woman. Gargol was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police say Gargol and the accused, 20 year old Cheyenne Rose Antoine knew each other. Antoine made her second court appearance Friday, with her face buried in her hands. Antoine will remain in custody until her next appearance on March 23rd. Earlier this week, Gargol's step-mother Kristi Wickenhauser remembered her as a girl who was so full of joy and loved her family, including her 4 younger sisters.
