A girl from a small Saskatchewan town will be walking down one of the world's biggest runways this week.
After modelling at the Canada Global Indigenous Runway in Saskatoon in September, 17 year old Amelia Boissoneau was asked by Native American designer Jolonzo Goldtooth if she wanted to be one of the models at the New York Spring Fashion Show.
Boissoneau, who is from Blaine Lake, says it still hasn't sunk in that she will be taking part in one of fashion's biggest stages. She expects to learn a lot from the show, adding "you never know who will be at the show and who you'll come across".
Boissoneau flies to New York on Monday and will take to the runway on Thursday, modelling for five designers who are based around the world, from the United States to Morocco.
