Canada's Public Safety Minister has confirmed an investigation is underway about an alleged comment on social media from an RCMP officer.
Ralph Goodale says an officer has been accused of saying Colten Boushie got what he deserved. He calls the alleged comment appalling and unacceptable, going against everything the RCMP stands for. Goodale says the facts are being examined and adds that there are consequences that will follow under the official code of conduct from the RCMP, if found to be true. It's not known if the alleged comment was made by an officer stationed in Saskatchewan or not. 22 year old Colten Boushie was shot and killed after going on to Gerald Stanley's Biggar area farm with a group of people in an SUV in the summer of 2016 . Stanley said it was an accident and was found not guilty of second degree murder. (CKRM)
