An 18 year old boy is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a 33 year old patron and two staff at a group home in the 100 block of McCallum Lane Saturday.
Saskatoon Police were called around 2:10 a.m. to find the traumatized 33 year old man who is a resident there along with a female staff member with a possible dislocated knee and another male staff member who was assaulted. Police located the suspect hiding in another residents room. The 18 year old now faces charges of Break and Enter, two counts of Assault, and Assault Causing Bodily Harm. Police say the suspect was believed to be high on methamphetamine at the time of his arrest. The resident and male staff member were treated at scene and released. The female staff member was transported to the hospital for her dislocated knee.The suspect is not known to the victims.
