The hope is to reopen 16th Street along Saskatchewan Crescent during the third week of November.
Crews have spent the last 4 months fixing a slope failure from July this year. The westbound lane sunk 3 feet.
Project Lead Reid Corbett says slope repairs aren't easy, but he feels they have repaired this site to the point where there should be no further trouble.
Corbett says there will be a short closure of the route in the Spring in order to lay the final layer of pavement. Otherwise, the retaining wall cap, sidewalk, and hand railing will be completed in Spring 2017.
