It’s been announced that J.J. Abrams is returning to direct ‘Star Wars: Episode IX,’ after the exit of former director, Colin Trevorrow.
Abrams directed ‘The Force Awakens,’ so the movie is in good hands, but this is now the second time in a few months that directors have been replaced. Ron Howard had to step in to direct the ‘Han Solo’ movie.
Sources say Trevorrow left ‘Episode 9’ after taking multiple stabs at the script, all of which were rejected by Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy. (This woman is tough to please… if she’s not impressed, she’ll switch you out!)
